King's Quest: The Silver Lining

Kings Quest: The Silver Lining ScreenshotBelieve it or not, the first episode of The Silver Lining has been released! Yes, after years of legal troubles the talented indie heroes of Phoenix Online have made it and now you dear King's Quest starved adventurers can finally download and play TSL Episode One: What is Decreed Must Be via the Silver Lining site. A fully-3D and properly adventury episode where -once again- King Graham will have to save the day and pay a visit to everyone's favourite Green Isles.

  1. Honestly, I registered and deactivated my account the very instant the download begun. With their action to force the registration, I'm ashamed I supported their cause. NEVER BEFORE ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET HISTORY HAS THIS EVER BEEN DONE FOR A FREEWARE GAME. I felt like I was bloody installing GTA IV,and I had to register for 6 services I'll never need/use. If anyone wants the game inform me, Phoenix doesn't prohibit its distribution at least nowwhere i could see and no manual comes along with the game.

  2. Don't really want to piss you off more dear Dualnames, but truth be said I was already a member of the site, so didn't even notice the mandatory registration...

  5. I registered and started the download within about 20 seconds, didn't have to register for any "services"

  6. I'm pretty sure that's not what Dualnames meant Anonymous. He was simply comparing the sign-up experience with GTA.

  7. I almost tossed myself out the nearest window, watching that trailer.

But then I remembered it's King's Quest and I should be laughing and clapping that there's even a garbage trailer, much less the real game.
