Run Jesus Run

  1. Hah, yes, this one made me chuckle quite a bit!

Interesting to see what can be done with 10 seconds and less buttons.

  2. Or -possibly- with 5 seconds and one button! Then again, you're the master of digital short stories.

  3. Very funny, I thought. Especially the fact that either way, you get crucified in the end, whether you have one apostle or 12.

  4. Being a believer myself, I really hope that He has a sense of humour. Otherwise the guy who made this game might meet with a stern face in the afterlife:
    - You remember that game you've made? My life in ten seconds?
    - Euh...
    - It was not all fun and games, I tell ya, especially that last bit!
    - Umm... Is it too late to tell I'm sorry?...
    - These were really big nails, not fun at all. Now, let us see whether reenactment could be arranged, just for you...
    - ...like, really really sorry?

Hopefully the rest of the dialogue is something along the line of:
    - Ahaha, kidding, I actually liked that. At least it reminded these nerds about me. Now, c'mon, let's see what we can waste eternity on - wanna make some games?

  5. I generally try to avoid typing such things, but, well, LOL is what springs to mind indeed. On a more serious note, I really don't feel that Run Jesus Run is being insulting to CHristians. Feels more like light-hearted fun...

  6. "Run Jesus Run"
    - I would give my right arm to have come up with that title! ;)

  7. Oh, come on. Not the right arm. You got miniatures to paint! Well, at least you lost your chance.. Phew.

  8. Seen it, played it, loved it.

  9. "Oh, come on. Not the right arm. You got miniatures to paint!

Precisely the point of my hyperbole. :)

  10. Yeah, good light-hearted fun=) I could only get 11 apostles but it's quite addictive, I have to stop playing now, work to do.

I wanted to try the EGP for the first time this month, and I had a kind of 'supermarket sweep' idea, but I think I overestimated the time I had available (as always), i'm still trying to finish my damn prototype for Uni. I'll see what April brings=)

  11. Not sure what an EGP is, but I do know that time is always in short supply and that Uni is always fun.

  12. Anyone manage to get 12 apostles yet? I'm stuck on 11 :(

  13. Well, I did. On my third try to be precise, so all it takes is a few more attempts dear Marc.
