SEGA Mega Drive: A retroinspection

Look at what Jakanden found: the complete SEGA Mega Drive retroinspection, exactly as it was published in the single recent issue of Retro Gamer I managed to miss, only of course in pure web-friendly (and quite inexpensive) html format.

Just click here and read this excellent piece on the most spectacularly successful SEGA console ever.

  4. Hardware-wise (besides the main processor)? Definitely the SNES, even though (mostly due to Sonic) I've always prefered the Mega Drive.

  5. The Mega Drive won the 16-bit war hands down in the UK - I mean EVERYBODY had one. As far as I can remember, only one person I knew at the time had a Snes, and they were shunned from the whole 'borrowing each others carts' scene. Plus, the MD had Sonic - waaaay cooler than Mario when you're 13!!
