The more sensitive ones felt it in the air, others dreamt about it in horrible nightmares, while the more secular minded believed it would be a nice follow-up to the first issue of White Dwarf. Funny thing is they were all right. Just follow this link and download another fine RPG pdf. It's the first issue of the Dragon magazine (then published by the long gone TSR) coming to you straight from the time warp. Which reminds me... Do the Time Warp! (again)

Now this is more of what I like to see. I collect alot of these things (I have quite a few old magazines in .pdf format)
ReplyDeleteRetro-whoring 4tw!
Glad to be of service my friend... I do have a few PDFs meself, but generally go for the real physical stuff...
ReplyDelete(there you go bringing whoring into it again... tsk, tsk)
Damnit - I cannot download it. The FTP version keeps telling me file not found and the HTTP keeps downloading a corruped download
ReplyDeleteditto here, but I have managed to find my suspenders............lets do the time warp agaiiinnnnnn!
ReplyDeleteIt's a step to the riiiight...
ReplyDeleteAnd I've just uploaded it to another location too... Let me know if this works....
Thanks
Much better =)
ReplyDeleteCan you do the same thing for the White Dwarf mag too?
Sure...
ReplyDeletean extremely efficient and prompt service you are running here mr.gnome
ReplyDeletethanks!
(considers the percentage chances of encountering a superlative gnome on journey through the internet)
I'm a gninja!
ReplyDelete(none)
(thank you Mr. Elderly)
(elderly stares at gnome clinging upside down from a side wall)
ReplyDeletea gninja.......how quickly i forget.....short term memory is pooped, forgive me
now a gninja indeed wouldn't show up on a 20 sided dice......unless.....
did twenty sided dice start with a 0 or a 1?
With a 1... unless of course it's one of the rare d20s that end with a 19.
ReplyDeleteninja Powah!
(elderly shudders......) awesome
ReplyDeleteNinja kewl (oh, and there are 2 new askaninja.com videos! Joy!)
ReplyDeleteninjas of the caribbean has a far nicher ring to it......thanks for the heads up, the resultant laughter has toned my stomach muscles.
ReplyDeleteMine too.... I'm ready for the beach! Horrah!
ReplyDeleteso you are.....me i'll play the beached whale role......
ReplyDeleteBut you laughed too, didn't you?
ReplyDeleteoh yes i did, but i've got a lot more toning to do..........thats why i come here...it's doing wonders for my physique......
ReplyDeleteNice to hear that. Now try it with a Yoda on your back.. It worked for Luke...
ReplyDelete(checks cupboards for a fresh yoda) i've got a Toyota dinky car......
ReplyDeleteI've got a VW one, but I'm afraid it wont do either. Yoda s what you need, or an Obi One (much bigger though, not as convenient)
ReplyDeletebased on that scaling and amount of toning that needs to be I'd need a jabba the hut....or maybe a milenium falcon
ReplyDeleteYou are clearly over-reacting... Next thing is asking for an Executor-class battleship...
ReplyDeletelol....indeed that would "flatten" me out pretty quickly.....lol
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid it would... That's what leads me back to the Yoda suggestion.
ReplyDeleteok i'll check out that lik sang link of yours see if i can import a live one..... though customs will probably have it quarantined for months.......
ReplyDeleteLik-Sang? I don't think they are selling any Jedis...
ReplyDeleteits the weight im going for, not too worried about training......you can still get untrained yoda can't you, or are they protected
ReplyDelete(elderly checks world wildlife federation.....)
Gnome their not even mentioned...there not extinct are they?
Of course not... There's at least one somewhere in the Dagobah system. And we've also got a small colony in Athens (Terra system).
ReplyDeleteSize is quie passe though. Look at iPod nano or the Nintendo Ds. That's proof.
phew! im so glad indeed luckily size dosen't matter.....
ReplyDelete(dials Dagobah into his celestial route planner......checks bus route......)
looks like i'll be having an Athenian Yoda then.........do they charge per hour or per kilogram?
I think with Yodas it's with cms of height... Not 100% sure though.
ReplyDeleteMind you, Athenian Yodas do tend to go stale when not in a fridge.
Why not try an African Tiger?
(What, a tiger? In Africa?)
no the thought of a cold Yoda sitting on my back isn't that appealing.....
ReplyDeletethe tiger idea now thats something new.....but arent' tigers dangerous?
Relatively...
ReplyDeleteFor example: If you're a Palpatine a Yoda is quite a bit more dangerous. Same goes for a Darth Whatever.
maybe i'll just hang onto my whale blubber, i'm kinda attached to it and the effort it's taking to organise a star wars character is counterproductive, im stressed now, which has played havoc on my cholestrol levels....
ReplyDeleteyou head off to the beach on your own, i'll have tea ready when you get back...
Oh, thank you... I'll bring you some frrsh fish. And octapi.
ReplyDeleteFun!
(scrap yoda)
(elderly tosses yoda catalogues in the bin) cant say we didn't try
ReplyDeleteWatch yourself with those octopi, they use jet propulsion......
Never knew this one....
ReplyDeleteA marine biologist, are you?
? no its on wikipedia...... they use ink to write stuff down...and am they have armies....
ReplyDeleteeight of them in fact, their also know n as devilfish.....they don't look like fish or devils though so that might be wrong......
me a marine biologist...hee hee you kidder you......
:)
ReplyDeleteAnothere day, another piece of knowledge. Thank you brave scholar of the blogosphere... Thank you.
(elderly's chest fills with pride, secure in the knowledge he had for the first time given his friend some knowledge that could be useful)
ReplyDeleteno problem!
:)
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, oh elderly...
(chest bursts.......)
ReplyDeleteoh oh!
Oh dear... What a mess?
ReplyDeleteAre you allright?
I have a real copy of this in Near Mint Condition. How rare is it and what is its value as I no longer game.
