Dragon Magazine issue #1

The more sensitive ones felt it in the air, others dreamt about it in horrible nightmares, while the more secular minded believed it would be a nice follow-up to the first issue of White Dwarf. Funny thing is they were all right. Just follow this link and download another fine RPG pdf. It's the first issue of the Dragon magazine (then published by the long gone TSR) coming to you straight from the time warp. Which reminds me... Do the Time Warp! (again)

  8. I'm a gninja!

    (none)

    (thank you Mr. Elderly)

  9. (elderly stares at gnome clinging upside down from a side wall)

a gninja.......how quickly i forget.....short term memory is pooped, forgive me

    now a gninja indeed wouldn't show up on a 20 sided dice......unless.....

did twenty sided dice start with a 0 or a 1?

    ReplyDelete
  10. With a 1... unless of course it's one of the rare d20s that end with a 19.

    ninja Powah!

  11. (elderly shudders......) awesome

  12. Ninja kewl (oh, and there are 2 new askaninja.com videos! Joy!)

  13. ninjas of the caribbean has a far nicher ring to it......thanks for the heads up, the resultant laughter has toned my stomach muscles.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Mine too.... I'm ready for the beach! Horrah!

    ReplyDelete
  15. so you are.....me i'll play the beached whale role......

    ReplyDelete
  16. But you laughed too, didn't you?

    ReplyDelete
  17. oh yes i did, but i've got a lot more toning to do..........thats why i come here...it's doing wonders for my physique......

    ReplyDelete
  18. Nice to hear that. Now try it with a Yoda on your back.. It worked for Luke...

    ReplyDelete
  19. (checks cupboards for a fresh yoda) i've got a Toyota dinky car......

    ReplyDelete
  20. I've got a VW one, but I'm afraid it wont do either. Yoda s what you need, or an Obi One (much bigger though, not as convenient)

    ReplyDelete
  21. based on that scaling and amount of toning that needs to be I'd need a jabba the hut....or maybe a milenium falcon

    ReplyDelete
  22. You are clearly over-reacting... Next thing is asking for an Executor-class battleship...

    ReplyDelete
  23. lol....indeed that would "flatten" me out pretty quickly.....lol

    ReplyDelete
  24. I'm afraid it would... That's what leads me back to the Yoda suggestion.

    ReplyDelete
  25. ok i'll check out that lik sang link of yours see if i can import a live one..... though customs will probably have it quarantined for months.......

    ReplyDelete
  26. Lik-Sang? I don't think they are selling any Jedis...

    ReplyDelete
  27. its the weight im going for, not too worried about training......you can still get untrained yoda can't you, or are they protected

    (elderly checks world wildlife federation.....)

Gnome their not even mentioned...there not extinct are they?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Of course not... There's at least one somewhere in the Dagobah system. And we've also got a small colony in Athens (Terra system).

Size is quie passe though. Look at iPod nano or the Nintendo Ds. That's proof.

    ReplyDelete
  29. phew! im so glad indeed luckily size dosen't matter.....

(dials Dagobah into his celestial route planner......checks bus route......)

looks like i'll be having an Athenian Yoda then.........do they charge per hour or per kilogram?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I think with Yodas it's with cms of height... Not 100% sure though.

Mind you, Athenian Yodas do tend to go stale when not in a fridge.

Why not try an African Tiger?

    (What, a tiger? In Africa?)

    ReplyDelete
  31. no the thought of a cold Yoda sitting on my back isn't that appealing.....
the tiger idea now thats something new.....but arent' tigers dangerous?

    ReplyDelete
  32. Relatively...

For example: If you're a Palpatine a Yoda is quite a bit more dangerous. Same goes for a Darth Whatever.

    ReplyDelete
  33. maybe i'll just hang onto my whale blubber, i'm kinda attached to it and the effort it's taking to organise a star wars character is counterproductive, im stressed now, which has played havoc on my cholestrol levels....

you head off to the beach on your own, i'll have tea ready when you get back...

    ReplyDelete
  34. Oh, thank you... I'll bring you some frrsh fish. And octapi.

    Fun!

    (scrap yoda)

    ReplyDelete
  35. (elderly tosses yoda catalogues in the bin) cant say we didn't try

Watch yourself with those octopi, they use jet propulsion......

    ReplyDelete
  36. Never knew this one....
    A marine biologist, are you?

    ReplyDelete
  37. ? no its on wikipedia...... they use ink to write stuff down...and am they have armies....

eight of them in fact, their also know n as devilfish.....they don't look like fish or devils though so that might be wrong......

Anothere day, another piece of knowledge. Thank you brave scholar of the blogosphere... Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  39. (elderly's chest fills with pride, secure in the knowledge he had for the first time given his friend some knowledge that could be useful)

    no problem!

    ReplyDelete
  40. :)

Thank you, thank you, oh elderly...

    ReplyDelete
  41. (chest bursts.......)
