Last chance to win Mr. Smoozles' love

After the disappointing results of the first -admittedly demanding- Gnome's Lair competition, I've decided to make things easier for you, and let you win one copy of the excellent indie arcade-adventure Mr. Smoozles Goes Nutso without getting exhausted. All you have to do this time is leave a comment on this very post till Thursday (it will be the 5th of August). Simple as that. And you can still find out more about the great game on offer here and of course here, where you can also grab yourselves a free demo. The winner will be contacted via email.

  1. I'm always up for contests that involve little or no effort! Although I do always feel a bit embarrassed if I manage to win by doing (almost) nothing... but I don't want to pass up on a chance winning a genuine Steve Ince game! I recently managed to win his book, in which I'm about halfway. Very educational so far. :)

  2. Commenting is easy, or, as they say, talk is cheap. That's my two cents.

I have something else I wanted to talk to you about, actually, so I'll email you soon. Just a project I wanted to get your opinion on.

  3. Cool sounding game. Tried to play beneath a steel sky once, but it was too challenging for me. The first puzzle must of took half an hour to figure out.

  6. Well this is my very first comment on your wonderful blog. I've been lurking for quite some time, about 6 months before you wandered off to play rl soldier for 3 months or so before coming back. Anyways, loving the blog and it's been a good means of accessing retro games content I would otherwise never have accessed, being what you could call a casual retro player witha love of the games but not the technical knowledge so to speak.

I'm not sure if you've done an article on them before but an article on the Commander Keen series would be epically appreciated at some point in the distant future.

Oh and cheers for being the person responsible for me playing such great games as Squid Yes! Not So Octopus! and Galcon Fusion. :)

    Have an awesome day man,

    Auretious Taak.
