God of War: The Era of Machinima

Feel like getting creative with God of War? Machinima based on Sony's gaming hardware? A new voice for Kratos? And why is the salmon in doubt? Watch the video and all (/none) will be clear.

  1. I say! That's a jolly splendid reworking of Kratso's gutteral drawl! Why if he is INDEED the God Of War, he should sound English at least and not be plagued with that cursed American drawl that he's been exhibiting for the last few episodes!

Perhaps he could invite Zeus around for a smattering of cucumber sandwiches and a nice drop of Earl Grey, instead of getting all deus-like on his ass...

If only we ALL spoke the Queen's English, this world might be a better place...

    Cheers!

  2. Actually, judging by the fact he's most obviously greek ,he should probably sound like Zorba.

Cucumber sandwiches? Cucumber anything? Are you crazy? There's a reason these horrid green things are so cheap you know...

    Cheers!

PS. How's the Queen? Still alive, I gather?

  3. If everyone spoke the Queen's English, I think this Eddie Izzard routine captures the world we'd be living in.

Then again, hearing the God of War ask, "Cake or Death?!" might be an improvement.

FWIW, the registration form for the GoW Machinima site isn't working for me.

  5. YOU DARE DEFY THE GOD OF WAR! Chains of Olympus is definitely my favorite game on the PSP. I liked it more than Crisis Core and Wipeout.

  6. The queen's still a reptilian shape shifting murderer, whatever the Diana 'inquest' says...

Well done dear Guttertalk, Mr. Izzard is indeed one of the finest exponents of the lingo...

Still, I think that dear Kratos would benefit from an Ox-Bridge dialect...

BTW Gnome... Who is this Zorba of whom you speak?

  7. No, no, not defy dear funnyman. We'd never do that... Rally... We're merely commenting. Besides, we all know Aris is the true god of war...

Ah, glad to hear the old lizard is fine and still a-murdering then. Excellent news I guess. As for Zorba, well besides a Robin Williams joke, a brilliant novel, good film and a real person he also seems to be the most popular stereotype of greeks. Have a look:

  10. That is blasphemy. Kratos made Aris bleed to death to become the God of War.

  11. Well, not according to greek mythology, he didn't...

  12. In case you didn't know, the God of War games are not an accurate depiction of Greek Mythology.
