If I had a PS3 and a copy of LBP...

that's what I'd be playing through over and over again:

I mean, it's simply stunning, isn't it? Of course it is. It is after all the aptly named ZX Spectrum Adventure created by Liveinabin for all PS3 gamers cunning enough to own a copy of Little Big Planet and old (and, well, European) enough to have fond memories of the Speccy. Now, why don't you see if you can spot all the pretty obvious references yourselves?

Bombarding Alan Sugar with Sinclair microdrives... Ahh, brilliant, just brilliant!

  1. Damn, you beat me to it. I have found it today, but didn't get to writing a post just yet.

Oh well, I guess I'll just put a short note some time in near future. The funny part is I actually thought "Hey, I bet Gnome is going to like this one!".

    ZX 4ever!

  2. It's great, isn't it? I'm sure I remember reading that the same designer mightn try doing all the "Manic Miner" rooms in a LBP stylee.

  3. Aww, that's truly sweet Barts dear :)

It absolutely is Matty. And if he actually comes through with such a plan I might have to eventually think about a PS3.

  5. I was thinking of waiting for another price drop really... Still, that sounds like fun.

  6. I'd want to wait for another two or three price drops, really. And even then, I'd look at my stack on unfinished games and wonder if I could really stand to add to them...

Quite a find, though, my good Gnome.

  9. This LBP level is liquid win!

Liveinabin mentioned that he might like to do a BBC Micro themed level too.

  10. Suicide is a bit over the top dear Dualnames. It is after all quite final and as Sony will definitely not be porting LBP anywhere beside the PSP, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yes, yes, that sounded indeed brilliant you ST maniac, you. Problem is the man totally ignored Roland... ;)

  11. Great Video, I Really love it!. I do not like ps3, but this game deserves to be purchased. Gnome try Ebay for a cheaper purchase :)

  12. Well, I did think about it, but I have to be frank. A PS3, no matter how lovely this video looks, will have to follow a brand new Amiga monitor, a PS2, a ZX81 and a CPC. Oh, and cheers for dropping in Archeogamer!

  15. Little Big Planet looks far more intriguing than more-hyped fair like Killzone 2. If I bought a PS3 this would be the game I'd buy along with it.

  16. Beside Killzone would have trouble mimicking a Spectrum...
