Commodore goes Gaming. Again.

Bala Keilman, the Commodore Gaming CEO, a person obviously aware of how fondly remembered both the Amiga and the C64 are, commented (according to GWN) that:
25 years ago, Commodore launched the best selling personal computer of the late 20th Century, the C64, and defined the early computer games experience for millions of people worldwide.
We are privileged and excited to bring the Commodore brand back to the gaming community and mark a new chapter in its history with this exceptional machine. We're sure that it will deliver what gamers need and want.
Apparently though, this exceptional machine will probably be nothing more than a gaming PC (think Alienware, only Commodore) -a new breed of gaming PC in manager speak- and will probably fail to excite anyone when it appears at this years CeBIT in Hannover on March 15. Oh, and Commodore Gaming is definitely not Commodore, mind you. Commodore went bankrupt years ago while trying to sell PCs and Amiga CD32s. Funny how history tends to repeat itself.

  13. Well... uhm... not really Father. Today they showed them at CeBit and they are just overpowered and admittedly beautiful (and customizable) PCs. Think Alienware...
