Chip's Challenge

Back in the days of handhelds the size of the Atari Lynx, Chip's Challenge (MobyGames entry here) was huge. It was being sold across such illustrious platforms as the Amiga, the Atari ST, the Commodore 64, the Spectrum, the PC and of course -not very surprisingly- the Atari Lynx. Nowadays, it's WinXP compatible and it's being given for free. Here. The Lynx version, on the other hand, mainly playable via the Handy emulator, is available here.

Oh, and if you must know, Chip's Challenge was (still is, really) a smart and extremely addictive puzzle game, with quite a few arcade elements. The object of the game was (is) collecting chips, apparently.

  1. I have very fond memories of trying to beat this damn game on my family's first computer. I'm pretty sure it's impossible.

  3. Well, Brian, I think I remeber finishing it on the Lynx, but can't really be sure.. Then again it might have been an easier, handheld-friendly version... Anyway... Give it a try again, will you?

St. Elderly, son of Maradona, Great Commentor of the Lair and General Pornmeister, might I point out that those chips were: a)magical b)silicon-based c)not very tasty?
