Forget the
PS3, forget the
Xbox 360 and forget the whole
naked girls playing Wii Tennis thing. Just save enough money to buy a multi-core processor, a good graphics card and a copy of
Alan Wake for your PC. It is going to be, quite frankly, awesome.

Holy Sh*t - that looks amazing...Alas, I'm pretty certain that my current PC would have a stroke if I even attempted to run something as beautiful as Alan Wake on it.
ReplyDeleteThat's why we all will have to (heavily) upgrade our PCs I guess... Any unguarded banks in Manchester?
ReplyDeleteI have seen the promised land..... i could die now a happy man...... simply awesome........
ReplyDeleteQuite, but let's not die just yet... Better play Alan Wake in all its glory first...
ReplyDeleteBoy! That just might have to go on my art computer, even tho it is coming out for the 360 early 2007... but Im not sure how it would hold up to a maxed out pc version..? Either way I will be making the purchase!!
ReplyDeleteExcellent find my small and powerful friend!
An excellent choice Sir (despite the fact that the 360 version won't come close to this)
ReplyDelete:)
dare i .... a multicore processor.... 1.gazilio ghz of something, the most powerful gaming machine on the planet.....
ReplyDeletein my sitting room...... and probably worth more than my sitting room.....
Actually I'm pretty sure quad-core Intels and AMDs will be quite affordable in a year or two. As long s I'm not in the army by that time, I'll be getting one...
ReplyDeletein the arm.......
ReplyDelete(rings Irish Foreign Affairs.... adopt a gnome section please.... yes.... greek!..... washes regularily... yes..... so i can send his application in?...fine...thank you)
Right i'm applying to have you made a naturalised Irish Citizen.... now theres just the small theory on moving you to Mount Athos
bloody hell though, thats a bit of a bummer...!
Ireland is a great idea, thank you dear friend... Even if the army, compared to the weirdos of Athos, isn't such a bad place after all...
ReplyDeleteSo. Where in Ireland? You don't have army service there, do you?
Thats the best looking water I've ever seen in a game!! ---and those lighting effects are amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI hope the 360 can push this out? Theres no reason why it shouldnt!! See what Splinter Cell looks like this month..? Then Gears of War? Those should both have some hardcore graphics for the 360 to push! If those run smooth? -it should run Alan Wake at top scale..? I hope.
no consription in Ireland and we have the only navy in the world where the sailors can cycle home for their dinner....
ReplyDeletethe army is mostly used for money shipments and stray packs of dogs ..... and ironically for a neutral country we supply troops to the UN peace keeping force....
Deitrix my friend, I really wish the Xbox 360 version will be capable of producing such visuals (I'd immediately buy one), but I'm pretty sure it won't. You see this demo is run on a quad-core Intel, with 2 gigs of ram and an ueber graphics card... Way out of Xbox's league (and price).
ReplyDeleteMr. Elderly, that's great news. Ireland it is then. No need to ever be a soldier. Apparently the navy is fine here too.. only problem is they wont take you there unless your uncle is an admiral or something...
a snobish navy... delightful.... privileged feckers....
ReplyDeleteQuad core... a name i'm never likely to forget
Quaddddddd Coooree
Almost good enough to abandon my Jolie fantasy......
Imagine a quad-core Jolie... Oooohhh, that's sick ;)
ReplyDelete(elderly collapses from Sensory overload.....)
ReplyDeleteThud!!!
(gnome makes sure Elderly has collapsed into a comfy position)
