Doom 3 was mediocre at best. Good looking, but offering cheap thrills. The original Doom was great and action packed, but released during the (early) 90s. The beautiful minds of beautiful people were consequently put to work, and the Classic Doom mod for Doom 3 was born. Hop over to this place and grab it. That's all. Nice, simple, nostalgic, fun, impressive and free... Feels quite '93 too.Related Gnome's Lair articles include: a mod for Quake and one for Dungeon Siege.
