The art of gaming (of games actually, but that's ok)

This is something both Deitrix and Mr. Elderly would definitely dig. A whole PDF fanzine dedicated to the art of video games, or at least to the visual-arts part of video gaming. Its almost perfect name is The Art of Gaming, and it's free, as everything should be.

Follow this link and download issue 1. Or wait for a month, follow the same link (I guess) and have a look at issue 2.

On the other hand you can totally ignore this post and have a look at Adrian Smith's art or at more gaming related art.

  3. Metal Slug is amazing. Got MS3 for the Xbox last week because I fancied something new - a change from the billions of 3D racers, fighting and shooting games. I was pleasantly suprised at how well animated and just how darn smooth everything moves. Metal Slug 3 is highly recommended.

  4. I do believe you, you know...

I remeber wasting ridiculous ammounts of money finishing Metal Slug at the arcades.

And, I've also found a nice free Metal Slug in Java, that was quiet brilliant. Cant remember the link though...
